HSA / FSA Eligible

Save an Average 30% on Your Sauna With HSA/FSA

The Math

It isn't a discount. It's the tax you don't pay.

HSA and FSA dollars are pre-tax. Spend them on an eligible sauna and you skip the income tax you would have paid on that money, commonly 22 to 37% for US filers.

The Process

Three steps, handled for you

Nordik does not decide who qualifies. Truemed connects you to a licensed practitioner who reviews your health profile.

1

Choose your sauna

Pick your model and start checkout as usual. Select the Truemed payment path.

2

Complete a 3-minute health questionnaire

A licensed practitioner reviews it and, if appropriate, issues a Letter of Medical Necessity for your purchase.

3

Pay with your HSA/FSA card

If approved, check out with your HSA/FSA card, or pay by card and reimburse yourself with the letter on file.

Eligibility and Letters of Medical Necessity are handled by licensed practitioners through Truemed.

A Letter of Medical Necessity is issued only if a practitioner finds the purchase appropriate for your situation. Approval is never guaranteed.

Good To Know

Before you buy

What if I don't qualify?

Nothing happens to your order. If a practitioner does not issue a letter, you can still buy the sauna with a regular card or through financing, you just pay with post-tax dollars.

Does this affect my taxes?

HSA/FSA funds are already pre-tax, so an eligible purchase is not deducted twice. You do not claim it again as a medical expense. Keep the Letter of Medical Necessity with your records. We are not tax advisors; check with yours for your situation.

How much do I actually save?

Your saving equals your marginal tax rate, commonly 22 to 37% for US filers before state tax. On the 2-person model that is roughly $616 to $1,036. It is not a discount on the sauna; it is the tax you do not pay on the money you use.

Can I combine HSA/FSA with financing?

Not on the same dollars. Financing is credit, so those payments are not an HSA/FSA transaction. Some buyers put part of the purchase on their HSA/FSA card and finance the rest; check with your plan administrator before splitting a payment.

What happens if I return a sauna bought with HSA/FSA funds?

The refund goes back to the account it came from, your HSA/FSA card, not to a bank account or store credit. That keeps the funds pre-tax. If your card is closed or the plan year has ended, tell us before you start the return so we can route the refund correctly.

Do I need an electrician?

No. Every model plugs into a standard 15A household outlet.
